Exterior Shutters Seattle

A dutch colonial home that is over 60 years old in North Bend required some period shutters to be replaced. The client came in to our showroom bringing two of the weathered rotten shutters from off of his home. He and his wife wanted to know if we could manufacture shutters to match these historic shutters and paint the new shutters to match the original color of the existing shutters. We love woodworking so this was a great opportunity for our craftsmen to use their skills. The shutters were just recently installed and look exactly as the originals with a firm nod to the original architecture.

Traditional Shutters in Seattle

If your home has a more traditional architectural flair your windows may look great with small louver shutters. When windows are shuttered with this design there are often multiple panels that fill the window allowing the homeowner to fold the shutters back. You can also close the shutters and adjust the louvers for light and privacy. The look is both graceful and sophisticated. We have recently completed a residence in Seattle where traditional shutters were used to compliment the furnishings and style of the house.
