Cafe Shutters
Cafe style shutters are useful in windows where privacy is needed in the lower half, but not necessarily the upper half. Tier-on-Tier Shutters
In this instance, the window is entirely shuttered, but the top is a seperate set of shutters from the bottom. Tier-on-tier shutters allow you to have complete privacy but give you the added option of opening the upper half entirely or simply adjusting the louvers. This style of shutter is especially popular in bedrooms.

Full Height Shutters
This type of shutter is just as the heading suggests. The shutters are one continuous piece from the top of the window to the bottom. This is one of the most widely chosen styles for any room. It works well in all windows and has the clean tailored look of symplicity.
